Celebration at WBG.

I went to WBG last nite for my friend's celebration for his promotion. It has been a while since I have been to the office. Many people knew about my pregnancy and many started congratulating me :). I am very touched. Though it's already 14 weeks, I can still hide my pregnant tummy well :). My hubby came to the office for the celebration too at a later time. When I was busy doing sharing with other associates, my hubby was happily watching Seth playing with a 2 month old baby, Denzel. He's a very cute and happy baby.

I was told that the people in the Penang office knew my name. Some how people in Penang office also knew about my pregnancy... Wow! Words really gets around really fast... I must really thank for cousins for their sharing with others too.

Most importantly, I am hoping and believing that my cousin with stage 4 cancer will get well soon, and show others that cancer is not that scary. With her will and determination to change, positive mindset, Hunza's products and the dedicated care of her oncologist, she will get well very soon. So far, the supplements from WBG has helped her a lot in stabilising her blood count very well so that she could continue with her medical treatment. There was a point that everything seems like it's going to an end. However, her path to recovery is on the brighter side now. May God bless her... If you wanna know more about Hunza's products, email to indinine@gmail.com.

First Trimester Scan on 19 Dec 05.

I saw my gynae again on Saturday (17 Dec) afternoon. I have gained 1.2kg in 3 weeks and gynae said it's normal weight gain. :) I saw my baby throught the ultrasound and heard's baby's heartbeat too :). I could see baby moving around inside me... It's so cute. It makes me wonder if baby have enough space to move around inside my tiny womb. lol...

Doc suggested that I should go for a nuchal translucency test on Monday. Doc asked me again if I have any questions to ask him. As usual, I did not have any questions. Perhaps, I dun wanna know too much, too early :). My hubby asked doc if there's any food that I should avoid. Oops... I am not supposed to eat too much sweet food, rice, bee hoon, noodles, bread, and other flour produce. kekeke... In my heart while doc was saying that, those are what I love to eat. Doc said if I want to eat bread, I can eat 2 slices of wholemeal bread a day. haha... For the past few days, I have been eating 4 slices a day! My hubby then told doc that I have been eating lots of bread. Then doc asked me if I am having craving for bread... hahaha... In my next visit, doc wants me to do a blood test for blood sugar again :(. Alamak... another blood test... Gonna be poked again...

I went for the detailed ultrasound scan at the X-ray department of Gleneagles :). The friendly sonographer was Imelda Flavier. Before she started scanning, she adjusted the screen for me to see :) and I was asked to sign a form saying that I do understand that the scan is not 100% accurate. She calculated from my last menses date and I am overdue for the nuchal translucency scan already. I am suppose to have it done at 13 weeks 6 days.

The sonographer showed my baby's movements at the beginning before getting the normal images. Baby was turning and moving around very actively. At some point, I saw baby's head, bum, or the back. haha... it's so amazing... At one point, baby was about to put her thumb into her mouth, so we just watched baby putting her thumb into her mouth... I asked the sonographer to try to see if we can see the baby's gender. She said it's too early and afraid that I will be disappointed... But she guessed it's going to be a gal, but she's not 100% sure. I was told that it will be more definite at 20 weeks pregnancy. I saw baby having hiccups during the scan too. We saw the spine of the baby which looks "nice". I was told that because my tummy is not very big yet, so the images on the ultrasound is very clear and "nice". And the sonographer enjoyed the scan for me. :)

My family...

My mum went for the course over the weekends. Most people knew that she's my mum, and many congratulated her too. hahaha... Then when she came home, she told my sister. Both of my sisters are pretty mischievous. They dun wanna tell my dad straight away. When my dad came to visit us, they just congratulate my dad, "dad, gong xi gong xi". hahahaha... My dad started guessing why "gong xi". wahahaha... Then he said he knows already cos only me never "gong xi" him. hahaha... so fun...

Happiness...

I just went for a two days course called "Success consultant seminar" by the "Global Success System". During the seminar, I gotta let the assistant coaches and the organiser know that I am pregnant :). One of the main speaker, Yanni, is also 3 months plus pregnant :). At the beginning of the course, she announced to everyone that I am also pregnant, and asked everyone to take care of me. So sweet... I felt rather embarrassed... and my face blushed :p. My tummy is still not very obvious, I just look fat like last time. After that, everyone came to me and congratulate me... and they took care of me... reminding me to walk slowly and carefully. They touched my hearts... It felt so "wen1 xing1" and there are so many who do care. I became a popular figure during the course... So many people know me and my name, but I do not know them. Blush blush... Some gave me a big hug and encouraged me that I will be the best mummy, some congratulated me that I will have a beautiful and smart baby... So sweet of them... I really have to thank them from the bottom of my hearts...

In my team, there's a mother of 2 kids. She shared with me her experience of "tai jiao" and willing to lend me some books on pregnancy. I also learnt to know "san1 sui4 ding4 ba4 shi2". We should say positive words and encouraging words to kids below 3 years old. The education of kids below 3 years old is the most important.
