Bed rests...

It had been very hectic for the past few days. Meetings and entertainment with potential big biz partner, and also the normal taking care of Aloysius' needs in the morning before rushing out. It's really an eye-opener to be able to sit in meetings between CEOs and big investors. Their way of doing business is very different. In the beginning, the conversations were about who is more "powerful" and richer than who. hahaha... Can listened till jaw-drop! Network is very very important if one wants to be very successful in business. I also got a chance to have tea at Tower Club after our lunch at Mezza9. We met Michael Mar, the owner of Indo-Chine there. The restroom there is also different. I was impressed. Every cubicle has a wash-hand basin and a huge mirror. There are also individually, nicely folded cotton hand towels for use, and also a big bottle of mouth-wash. It's quite an experience the last few days to clinch the business deal. Very successful business people really make big decisions on the spot. Imagine the signing of a SGD7million deal within just 2 days. Maybe I am "mountain tortoise", never seen such big deals that can be settled in just 2 days. And best of all, one trip settles a few business deals. hmm... I think I gotta learn to reach that pace.

My sis even got the opportunity to have dinner at One Degree with the owner of Nirwana Gardens Resort. The owner, Mr. Frans, is the nephew of the richest man in Indonesia, Mr. Lee! I did not go for the dinner though... My body is telling me to rest already.

Now, I am stuck in bed. Yesterday morning, I rushed to take a train, then stood all the way in the crowded train. When I reached my destination, I started to bleed when I went to the toilet :( I hoped for the best and slowed down my pace, and talked to my babies. The bleeding stopped. It started again in the late afternoon. Since the important meetings had finished, I decided to take a cab to Gleneagles to see Dr. Chew. I told my hubby that I can go and see Dr. Chew on my own since he's busy at work.

I gotta wait for a while for my turn. During the wait, I did not feel anything. IS it just denial of feeling my feelings? Maybe... Dr. Chew did a scan. He told me that my womb is weak from my medical history, and it gotta support two babies now. There are two heartbeats. It took him a while to find the second heartbeat. That gave me a fright. Then he told me one water sac looks normal, and the other is a bit big whereas the foetus is still small :(. He told me to prepare for the worst :( sobs... He said that hopefully if one is unhealthy, it better be absorbed by the other so that there will not be complications and be left with one. Why are doctors so negative? I'd rather he dun tell me the negative part. I am trying to stay positive, and perhaps that has masked my true feelings. Or maybe I am too busy to feel my feelings. I felt sad and wanna cry this morning when I'm alone. HOpefully I wun get too paranoid. Doc asked me to be hospitalised for two days, so that I dun have to walk too much, not even to the toilets. He said till like I should not be walking at all. Gosh... I rejected that. I think I will be more in peace at home. I was given a jab to relax the womb. That hurts a lot. I forgot to ask doc how many days of bed rest. I will be seeing him again next Wed. Cannot be resting in bed for so many days rite... :( This weekend gonna be a stay-in-bed weekend...

I should not be giving up yet. I gotta keep talking to my babies inside to ask them to grow up healthily.

Babies, babies, please grow up healthy.
Daddy, mommy and brother love you.
We are hoping very much to see you.
Babies, babies, you have super power.
Use your super power to grow up healthy and be born smoothly.
Daddy, mommy and brother love you both...

Okie, gotta stop here... Will continue to read Shichida's book on "tai jiao" and another book titled "The Secret".

It's twins!

Last week was a hectic week. I gotta look after my active Aloysius on my own, day and night, cos my hubby was on reservist too. Though Aloysius was a very good boy, but it’s still rather tiring on my part. Nowadays, he had stopped “ransacking” the drawers in the kitchen. He would open the drawer and take out one or two things that he still wanted to explore, then close the drawer back :). Sometimes, he would put back what he had taken back into the drawer.
Aloysius now understands commands. When we asked him where is who, he will go to the respective rooms to find. When we asked him where is “Uncle Donald”, he will find my sis’s laptop and stare at the screen. His beloved “Uncle Donald” is in America and they communicated in Skype usually. Yesterday, when I walked out of the bedroom, he rushed out behind me. Then I told him to “please close the door”. Surprisingly, he stopped and turned back to close the door. So cute…

I saw Dr. Chew last Friday. He did a scan and we saw two sacs with very regular heartbeats in each sac! My hubby teared a little with joy. One sac is smaller than the other though. Dr. Chew said that we gotta wait till 3 months for them to stabilize. Sometimes, one will absorb the other. Hmm… But we saw two hearts beating already. Are they identical? We gotta wait till they are born then we will know. We are hoping for a gal and a boy :) I have started “tai jiao” a little. Not very faithfully yet. I hope I will have the time and energy to do “tai jiao” better. I will be seeing Dr. Chew again on 5 Sep. I guess I gotta see him fortnightly.

I was thinking whether I have great sixth sense or is it just coincidental or is it just a dream comes true... A few months ago, I was thinking of how nice it is to have a twin, so that I do not have to go through another caesaerean for number 3. Just a few days ago, my sis was telling me perhaps I am having a twin. Is this the power of the subconscious mind?

After the visit to Dr. Chew, we went to the Botanical Gardens. Aloysius enjoyed himself very much. There were another two gals who were on their way home. Aloysius played with them for a while and followed them all the way to the gate. hahaha... After that, we went to The Grace at Buona Vista for our dinner.

Aloysius' 1st trip to Penang!

The Flight
It’s Aloysius’ second time on the plane. We took SQ flights to Penang this time. The journey is only 1 hour 25 minutes each way. On the way there, just before the plane took-off, Aloysius fell asleep, cos we gotta wait for quite some time to queue for take-off. He did not feel any discomfort and continued to sleep till we were about to land. He woke up and I fed him the Heinz apple & mango puree from the air-stewardess. It seems like Aloysius was the only toddler in the plane, hence, there’s limited jar food. He got another Dora the explorer. It’s his third Dora the explorer. He already got two from the flights to and from Perth in May. He felt a little discomfort in his ears during landing. He kept rubbing his ears. I distracted him a little by playing with him the Dora the explorer. He did not make any noise despite the discomfort. I taught him to play with Dora by using two hands to clap Dora's hands. He picked it up immediately. When in Penang, he played with Dora on and off too.

On the flights back from Penang, Aloysius was wide awake during both take-off and landing. When we boarded the plane, he was given a watch – Dora the explorer. Again… hahaha… During take-off, I carried him and sat near the window. He was amazed at the wings of the plane. He kept looking out. Half way in mid-air, he started to giggle. Hmm… Maybe he found the clouds funny. After that, he started to play with the brightness of the screen and the remote control. Surprisingly, he got a set of kid’s meal too. It consisted of a packet of cheese and vegetables sandwiches, biscuits, yogurt, milk. I requested for some jar food too. Aloysius had the jar food. He received another Dora the explorer! Hahaha… so many… During landing, I let him “read” the inflight magazine, and he sat on my lap quietly. There’s another toddler in the next row who was crying her heads off throughout landing. Poor gal cried till she vomited. Aloysius was curious and kept watching. Luckily, he just watched quietly.

In Penang

We stayed at my aunt’s place. There’s a big space for Aloysius to walk. It was unbelievable that he could actually walk for 3 hours, non-stop! I just let him walk as much as he liked, as long as he’s within sight. There were also other kids to help to keep an eye on him, just in case he decided to chase a dog. Aloysius knows what is “shoes”. There’s once when he was walking out bare-footed and I asked him to wear his shoes. He actually went around to look for his shoes. He learnt things very fast. My brother-in-law showed him “bao bao” by using both hands to tap on his tummy. He learnt that immediately. When we asked him what is “bao bao”, he used both hands to tap on his tummy and at the same time looked for my brother-in-law. He associated “bao bao” with hands tapping on his tummy plus brother-in-law. Hahaha… It was so funny.
Aloysius loves the fans, even the exhaust fans. We went to my cousin’s new home. Aloysius was busy investigating the ceiling fans and the exhaust fans. He kept pointing and wanted the fans to be switched on, just like the “fans supervisor”. We saw the little explorer “comparing” the exhaust fan and the ceiling fan. He walked to the kitchen to look at the exhaust fan, and walked to the room to look at the ceiling fan. He did this to and fro a few times. Hmm… what has he discovered? Who knows, maybe he will be better than me in my research subject – fluids dynamics.

We went to the botanical garden. Aloysius was very happy. He walked up and down the slope of grass many times. Good exercise, eh? He ran, fell and stood up, till he could not stand anymore. Despite falling with his face flat on the grass, he still stood up on his own and continued his walking. Hmm… maybe I gotta bring him to the Singapore botanical gardens too. Glen Doman mentioned that we gotta let them walk on different terrains.

Positive thoughts, I needed.

I needed more positive thoughts now. I dunno why that I have been reading so many negatives things from the internet forum since Monday :( I better shut myself off from the forum for a while. I am trying to tell myself to keep positive and be happy. Then a news of a death came yesterday evening. Life is so fragile. After I put down the phone, Aloysius started to cry very hard unconsolably for no reason. Maybe he has strong ESP and could sense something. It's almost 2am now. I am still not able to fall asleep. We will be taking the first flight out to Penang later. Hopefully, I will be able to wake up at 5am to start preparing Aloysius' breakfast and lunch for today.

My sis, who is still in Japan, told me the soul just left the body. What is more important is the soul. The body is just where the soul is living only. Our beloved cousin passed on after hugging her dad very tightly twice. I was happy when I heard that she did hug her dad. She closed her eyes peacefully after seeing her 3 precious kids. May God bless her soul...

This trip to Penang is for two very ironical purpose - a funeral, and a birth. hmm... The latter is full of happiness...

Detox program shelved.

Initially, I wanna start the intensive detox program this week with some friends. It gotta be shelved now :) Sorry friends, we cannot detox togather. Maybe 2009 :) Now I can only take lots of the supplements, but not the intensive program. Let you all know the reason when I am ready, ya? You all "jia you" in the program for a slimmer, younger looking you, and most importantly, a healthier you...

Doesn't he look lost?

We went to the airport yesterday to send my sister. She's going to Tokyo for a 9 days Psychology of Vision (POV) seminar, by Sensei Hiromi and her hubby. The theme is about love in the city :) I wish I can attend too. Maybe next time, and also a trip to Tokyo Disneysea and Disneyland :)

Oh yes, Aloysius can call "er4-ee2" very accurately. But only did it once.

At the airport, I let him walked around on his own. He was very happy there. The changing departure board caught his attention and he stood there to watch for a few minutes. Next exploration was an ATM machine. Then the beautiful water fountain, and the escalators.

4th lesson at JG.

Yesterday was the fourth lesson at JG. Aloysius enjoyed himself. The kids were supposed to wear red and white in celebration of Singapore’s National day. Aloysius was dressed up in a red top plus a white short. His dressing is really “national day” dressing. When we were in the lift, people immediately said “national day”. Our neighbours also said “national day” when they saw him. Hahaha…

When we reached JG, I let him walked to his classroom on his own. Along the way, he peeped into other classes. The art and craft was spreading some paint on the plastic bubbles and then put a paper with a drawing of an alligator to fill some colours over the plastic bubbles. The first time Aloysius touched the paint and spreaded the paint. He could not bear with the paint on his hands. He’s afraid of his hands getting dirty. Hmm… Or is it the feeling is weird? Maybe… He then withdrew his hands and painted his tummy and legs as well. Hahaha… Luckily he’s only in his diaper. It was a messy painting session. I gotta clean him and change his diaper after that. After the painting session was snack time. Aloysius simply loved the cookies. Then, it was playing session at the playground where Aloysius played with the sand. Then it was the music and bubbles time.

After the lesson, we went to HRC for my lunch. Yesterday, he was given a green balloon. Aloysius had some fun with the crayons. He had his milk and fell asleep. It was quite a fun day for him :)

Travelling days...

I am transferring my files to my laptop at the moment. I browsed through the photographs that I have on my external hard disk. When I came to the photographs of our trips around Europe, I suddenly felt the urge to bring Aloysius to Europe. I wanna show him the beautiful places me and my hubby enjoyed. I think he will enjoy as much as we did :). My dream place of bringing Aloysius to first in Europe is London, Edinburgh, and Paris. Next time, probably Croatia, Slovenia, Spain, Austria, Czech Republic, etc. So many places to go… :) I can feel that our travelling days will be back soon :)

Abundance!

Aloysius was a very good and happy boy without me and my hubby around. When I called home yesterday, my mum told me that Aloysius was like a supervisor of the fan. I find him very cute. As usual, he explored the house and also not forgetting putting his hands on the things and bringing them down to the floor. Hahaha… There’s a ceiling fan in the living room. Aloysius would make sure that the ceiling fan is switched on. When he went into the room, my mum switched it off. And when he came out of the room and saw it switched off, he went to find my mum and told her to switch on the fan in his baby language. He did this a few times. There’s once when my mum did not want to switch it on. He went to find my dad and bring my dad to the switch and “ba ba ba ba ba” in his baby language. He’s satisfied when the fan was switched on. He found ways of communication and is improving by the days. He can call “jiu jiu” now. This morning, he called “pa4 pa” very accurately when he woke up. He can say “xie4 xie” when I gave him an apple just now. I am trying to teach him to say “thank you” instead. Every morning, he will pass motion after his morning milk feed. I will put him on his toilet seat :)

I have completed the two days seminar in Psychology of Vision togather with my hubby, my sis and future BIL :). I felt more relaxed now and more loved. Sensei Hiromi will only be back in March 08. The next POV in Singapore will be conducted by Jeff Allen in early September. Jeff is the world first POV master trainer. The next POV seminar by Sensei Hiromi will be starting on this Saturday in Tokyo. My sis is going. How I wish I can go too...

I am very blessed with a very happy and supportive family, a loving and supportive hubby, and a very cute, happy and smart Aloysius. I am so blessed and full of abundance in my family life! Throughout my life as a student, I am also very lucky. I get into the schools that I want. I got my free scholarship without much effort and went overseas :)

I learnt that the problems that I am facing now will go in cycles, even into the next generation or even the next and next and so on... There are several case studies during the seminar. Usually our wealth is hindered by our relationship with our parents. Our career advancement is hindered by our relationship with our fathers. In my previous POV workshops, I also learnt that our relationship with our mothers will affect our relationship with our husband, colleagues, and other people. Basically, it’s people relationship. We were given a homework this time. It is to give a very precious gift to our parents. What shall I give my dad and my mum?

This month of August is also a month to pay our debts. It’s a month to give to our parents and people close to us. hmm... maybe this is the month for me to finalise my thesis and go to the UK, and my graduation ceremony in Dec 07. Actually, since last week, I have been planning to go to the UK end of September 07 during SM's term break for viva voce.

Wish all of you lots of abundance!

Wish all of you lots of wealth! Wealth of knowledge, wealth in the blood, wealth in family life, monetary wealth, etc., etc...

Seminar weekend...

This weekend, my husband and I are attending a seminar called “Psychology of vision” by a master trainer, Hiromi Kurihara. The theme is "The Power to Lead Wealth". There are only 4 master trainers in the world and she is one of them. She’s a very pretty, gentle lady with nearly 30 years of experience in solving relationship problems :). Yesterday, in the joining session, I saw many things. My buddy’s eyes suddenly resembled my dad’s eyes. I had a feeling of guilt towards my dad. I am guilty of not being successful, and made him disappointed. Towards the end of joining, I saw myself graduating and taking photographs on the big grass field in Loughborough University. I saw my very happy family and they are so proud of me. I saw Aloysius running around happily on the grass field. We took lots of photographs. A very strange thing that I saw is that during my graduation, I am also having a little girl in my tummy. Hmm… Is this my intuition or just a fantasy?

On Friday nite, my parents brought Aloysius back to JB. The parting was quite difficult for my hubby. Aloysius cried very pitifully and wanted his daddy. It was a heart breaking sight for his daddy. Luckily, after a while, he fell asleep in the car. So far, he’s fine in JB. My little professor explorer explored the house and things around the house. As usual, he’s an expert in switching the TV on and off, and the fans as well.

My dearest Aloysius...

Aloysius is my dearest boy today. He’s happy exploring the home. Just now, my mum asked him to go to the table to drink his water, he actually walked to the table to get his water bottle and drink water! I was amazed. He knows what we are talking. This morning, I told him to wake Uncle Bok, he knew which room “Uncle Bok” is sleeping in! He walked to the door and started to knock on the door.

Yesterday, we went to JG. He was very happy during the lesson. He was happily playing with "Jia Xuan" with the toys.

He looked at the teacher attentively with his big, round eyes during story telling. Teacher Lin asked “Aloysius, blink, Aloysius.” Halfway during story telling. Hahaha… Teacher Jane at Shichida Method also commented that she’s “scared” when Aloysius stared at her during flashcards time, cos he seldom blink and looked attentively.
Then they played with cotton wool for art and craft. It was Aloysius' first time touching and playing with cotton wool. Some of the cotton wool stuck on his hands. He tried to remove them but the sticky cotton wool got transferred from one hand to the other. hahaha... The looks on him was so funny.

After art and craft was snack time. I am allowing Aloysius to taste some biscuits that the teacher gives during JG. Teacher Lin already told me the rule that we should not bring our own food, and it's good training for Aloysius to taste different food and feed himself different kinds of biscuits and food with different textures. I will just let him eat them, else he might feel so "special" in class.

3rd Lesson at JG.

It was a little bit rush for us. It was like rushing the whole morning for me. There are lots of things to do. Aloysius napped and woke up when we reached Forum. I went to MacDonalds to get some hot water to make him some milk just before the class. He was hungry. His porridge was too hot to feed him. After his milk, we went for class. He was very at home in class. hahaha... He loves to ride on the red duck and pretend to fall everytime :) In this lesson, Aloysius seems to have a "rival", Jodith. hahaha... Both of them dun seem to be able to click. Aloysius wanted the toys she's playing, and vice versa. Even in the playground. So cute... This lesson, they were given apple sauce to feed themselves. I realised how well Aloysius can feed himself! I was surprised. At home, I gave him apportunities to feed himself using the spoon and his bowl, and everytime I need to help him to scoop the porridge and ended up with lots of mess. I guess it's the spoon that matters :) I will go and get the similar spoon for his self-feeding at home :) Have anyone of you saw this spoon anywhere? Let me know, ya? Thank you in advance... :)
